The Upper Peninsula has some awesome hiking trails. The North Country National Scenic Trail travels from New York to North Dakota, and more than 900 miles is in Michigan! We have hiked most of the trail in the Upper Peninsula many times over, in just about all seasons, but fall color is our favorite time of year. There are many other beautiful trails, and these pages will have pictures from our favorites! Our Karelian Bear Dogs love nothing better than to be with us out in nature on a hiking trail somewhere!
